Connection & Division
We worked with Fermanagh Museum, the Inniskillings Museum and Derry Museum to design Connection & Division, exploring the turbulent story of 1910-1930 in Northern Ireland.
The exhibition combined objects from two collections split across two venues 50 miles apart. We designed the interpretation at both venues, including iPad kiosks at each venue that allowed visitors to explore all the objects.
Developing in HTML allowed us to put the exhibition online, opening up access to the collections to anybody with a web browser, and inviting comments and personal memories.
Activities around the exhibition invited visitors to handle objects and to contribute their own memories and thoughts in person using post-its on a timeline.
